Thank you for purchasing a Unique Home Designs product. All Unique Home Designs products including doors, gates, enclosures and any custom work, carry the following Limited Warranty (the “Warranty”):

What does this Warranty cover?
This Warranty applies if you are a residential purchaser, and covers, under normal and proper use and normal conditions and as long as the product was installed by an authorized Unique Home Designs installer or dealer, any defects or malfunctions, including rust, relating to the structural integrity of your Unique Home Designs product’s metal structure and framing, including all welding (the “Metal Product and Framing Warranty”), and covers any blistering, cracking and fading of a product’s Powder Coat Paint Finish (the “Powder Coat Warranty”). All other components of the product, including Textilene sunscreen material, lock hardware, bug sweeps, weather-stripping, closers and composite materials are covered by the original manufacturer applicable warranties, if any.

What will Unique Home Designs do?
If any part covered by the Metal Product and Framing Warranty or Powder Coat Finish Warranty, when used properly, is found upon inspection to be defective, Unique Home Designs will replace, recoat or repair, as applicable, the defective part or parts without charge. In addition to the foregoing, if your home is burglarized and entry was accomplished through a Unique Home Designs security door, locked with a double dead bolt supplied and installed by Unique Home Designs, Unique Home Designs will pay your insurance deductible up to $1000 on a Premier Series door and on a Classic Series door and repair or replace as applicable the damaged Unique Home Designs security door at no charge (the “Home Protection Warranty”). Replacement items may vary in style due to changes in suppliers and product. Not all colors can be reproduced if colors have been discontinued. Unique Home Designs is not responsible for securing the property while warranted items are being repaired or replaced.

How long does coverage last?
The Metal Product and Framing Warranty and Home Protection Warranty will last for as long as you own your Unique Home Designs product, and terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer the product or the property upon which it was installed. The duration of the Powder Coat Finish Warranty is five years from the date of purchase.

How do you get service?
To make a claim under this Warranty, send a brief written description of the problem, plus proof of purchase, to Unique Home Designs at: 973 N. Colorado Street, Gilbert AZ. 85233 Attn: Warranty Claims. To make a claim under the Home Protection Warranty, you must also submit a copy of the police report relevant to the illegal entry and proof of your applicable insurance deductible.

What does this Warranty not cover?
Any problem caused by abuse, misuse, failure to maintain warranted item properly, adjustments due to settling of the structure that the product is mounted on, or acts of God, are not covered. This Warranty also does not cover screen material pushed out of their spline groove, defects regarding any natural wood products encompassed within the product, and (except to the extent covered by the Home Protection Warranty) damage to your home caused by vandals, break-ins, or attempted break-ins. No part of this Warranty applies if you modify the product in any way, including installing or modified any lock. The Powder Coat Warranty does not apply if the integrity of the finish is broken by scratching, chipping, misuse or any other circumstances beyond our control.

Except as provided under the Home Protection Warranty, this Warranty does not cover damages in excess of the purchase price. Incidental, special or consequential damages are not covered by or recoverable under this warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages may not apply to you.

Limitation on Implied Warranties.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARISING UNDER STATE LAW ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE PERIOD OF COVERAGE PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

How state law relates to this warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

Strength Tested


All of our doors are produced using 6063-T6 architectural grade metal alloy. They are designed for beauty and engineered using materials 50% thicker than other manufacturers that use standard 16 gauge steel.
In tests conducted by an independent laboratory, our 1½” door frames tested up to 80% stronger than those competitors using 2 inch 16 gauge steel frames. These static force elastic limits far exceed the measured standard of competitive doors.

Our Arizona based manufacturing facility boasts the most modern Amada laser cutters, unsurpassed robotic welding equipment and one of the finest powder coat paint lines in the country, allowing us to meet American Architectural Manufacturers Association specification standard #2604. Add to that our modern CAD systems and stringent quality control and it’s no wonder that Unique Home Designs can offer a product that is simply the best when it comes to strength and durability. This directly translates into lasting value for our customers.




Door designs and art placement will vary by size of door. Unless requested otherwise at time of purchase, orientation of design in the finished door will be as shown whether the handle/lock is on the right or on the left. Exceptions are the sunburst designs: the center of the sunburst will be placed on the same side as the handle lock and at the same level as the handle/lock. To maintain proper quality levels and appearance, we reserve the right to change the processes or suppliers of included or optional items as required.
